Scott Young
Licensed Building Contractor
With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Scott Young has earned a solid reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. From early on in his career, Scott was singled out to take primary responsibility for overseeing all project aspects. This opportunity inspired him to get his California State General Contractor’s license in 2006 and form his own company Young Co. Builders, Inc.
Throughout his career, Scott has been awarded many residential and commercial projects. He has extensive experience in construction scheduling, contracts, and subcontractor coordination. His residential experience ranges from complex production homes to high-end custom homes in the Mirada community in Rancho Mirage and the Hideaway in La Quinta.
Scott was selected builder of choice for several high-profile clients, with custom homes ranging in size up to 9,000 + square feet and project costs exceeding $5 million. Scott’s commercial experience includes the construction of a 6,000 square foot multipurpose facility for the Palm Springs Nazarene Church. In addition, Scott’s experience includes active participation in the construction of the Palms Country Club in La Quinta. Scott has singularly managed multiple projects simultaneously with combined project costs in the tens of millions of dollars.
Scott is a lifelong resident of the Coachella Valley and an avid recreational golfer. When not working, however, Scott mostly enjoys spending time with his wife Cari and their six kids!
